- Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure logistics activities are integrated and aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics and provide insights to optimize operations and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics service providers to ensure high-quality service.
- Implement best practices in logistics management, including continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Prepare reports and documentation for management regarding logistics operations and performance.
- Be flexible to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
- Experience in managing logistics operations within large-scale projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with logistics management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
