- Experience working with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive science classroom environment.
- Expertise in curriculum development, preferably based on the IB MYP and DP frameworks.
- Proficient in developing and administering assessments; ability to report on student progress in science.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on scientific education trends.
- Adaptability to integrate new teaching methodologies and approaches.
- Develop and implement engaging lessons aligned with the MYP Science and DP Biology frameworks.
- Foster scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs, ensuring an inclusive science classroom environment.
- Encourage hands-on experiments and application of scientific principles.
- Facilitate inquiry-based learning experiences, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts independently.
- Guide students in developing a deep understanding of scientific methodology.
- Develop and administer assessments to gauge student understanding and progress in science.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support students in enhancing their scientific skills.

- Experience teaching (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) is preferred
- Experience teaching Secondary General Science as well as Upper School Biology is mandatory
- Relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Biological Science, or a related field.
- Relevant Professional Teaching Qualification.
