- Lead the planning, execution, and management of testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale solar projects.
- Supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of electrical systems including inverters, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, and protection systems.
- Review and approve method statements, testing procedures, and commissioning schedules.
- Coordinate with EPC teams, subcontractors, and OEMs to ensure all systems are commissioned according to specifications and standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance during commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during the commissioning process.
- Maintain and manage documentation, including test reports, punch lists, and handover documents.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to site teams and ensure timely project delivery.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of total experience, with a minimum of 10 years in solar power projects.
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning of utility-scale solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid compliance, protection systems, and SCADA integration.
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work full-time in Rabbigh, Saudi Arabia.
