- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Monitor and analyze relevant legislation, policies, and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Provide timely updates and strategic advice to internal stakeholders on political or regulatory changes.
- Prepare reports, briefing materials, policy papers, and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, site visits, and events involving government officials and representatives.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support the development and implementation of the organization’s government relations strategy.
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and public policy discussions.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Operations) to align on regulatory issues.
- Draft official correspondence, responses to government inquiries, and position statements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, or policy advocacy.
- Strong understanding of government structures, legislative processes, and public policy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in \[insert languages, e.g., English and Arabic\].
- Ability to interpret legal and policy documents and communicate implications clearly.
- High level of integrity, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- Experience working in or with government entities is a strong advantage.
