Job Description:Key ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionExecute site electrical works for Solar PV projects including:DC side works (module stringing, DC cabling, combiner boxes)AC side works (inverters, LT panels, transformers, RMU, switchyard)Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.Coordinate daily site activities with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams.Installation & SupervisionSupervise contractors and subcontractors for electrical installation works.Ensure proper installation of modules, inverters, cables, earthing, and lightning protection systems.Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project timelines.Quality ControlEnsure compliance with project quality plans, ITPs, and inspection requirements.Conduct inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning checks.Rectify defects and non-conformities in coordination with contractors.Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and site safety protocols.Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices at site.Ensure compliance with statutory and client safety requirements.Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with Project Manager, Electrical Lead, QA/QC, and HSE teams.Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and material consumption reports.Support client, consultant, and internal inspections.Testing & Commissioning SupportAssist in testing and commissioning activities including:String testing and IV curve testingInverter and transformer energizationSCADA and monitoring system supportEnsure readiness for grid synchronization and handover.Material & DocumentationMonitor material receipt, storage, and usage at site.Ensure proper tagging, handling, and installation of electrical materials.Maintain as-built drawings, checklists, and handover documents.
