Shear International Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Manager to oversee operations at our steel foundry and iron casting factory in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within a similar industrial environment. The Production Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality steel and iron castings, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of production, from planning and scheduling to quality control and delivery.
- Manage and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain production best practices to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
- Develop and monitor production budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and implement strategies to improve production processes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and sales, to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within a steel foundry or iron casting factory.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of foundry processes, including melting, moulding, casting, and finishing.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate production teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technologies.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations.
