- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management.
- Contribute to menu development, focusing on seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
- Ensure the highest quality of food presentation and taste.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to build a strong, cohesive team.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supply orders, and control food costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- You will report directly to the Director of Culinary.
- Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment at all times.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-level culinary position, particularly as an Executive Sous Chef.
- Strong background in European cuisine and fine dining practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing a diverse kitchen team.
- Proven track record of menu design and food cost management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
