Mechanical Engineer

• Inspecting the construction of works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals.
• In case of non-Compliant procedure, Site Inspector will immediately report to the Engineer and issue SON/NCR.
• Inspecting site conditions prior to start of construction activities.
• Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works, checking for obstructions and ensuring all completed works are kept safe & properly protected.
• Reviewing materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report findings.
• Checking that materials delivered to site are properly stored and report discrepancies.
• Preparing daily logs and reports, maintaining records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc.
• Performing all work in accordance with the Client Procedures Manual.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by reporting line manager.

• Diploma or higher level of qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge in Treatment Plants and Mechanical Systems
• Strong English communication skills
