Job Title:Safety Supervisor – Chemical PlantsDuties and Responsibilities:Supervise the implementation of occupational health and safety systems and procedures within the chemical plant.Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, ISO, etc.).Monitor the handling of hazardous chemicals and ensure their storage, transportation, and disposal in accordance with approved guidelines.Conduct risk assessments and job safety analysis to minimize the likelihood of accidents or exposure to harmful substances.Oversee emergency and evacuation plans and conduct regular drills for employees.Follow up on workplace incidents and injuries, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.Train and raise employee awareness on safety rules and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure a safe work environment.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety / Chemical Engineering / Health & Environment or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in safety within factories or chemical plants.Strong knowledge of HAZMAT, MSDS, HAZCOM systems.Proficiency in English (spoken and written).Strong skills in follow-up, reporting, and communication with multidisciplinary teams.Core Skills:Ability to identify hazards and propose preventive solutions.Team supervision and leadership skills.High attention to detail and compliance with procedures.Ability to work under pressure and effectively solve problems.
