Electrical Technician - BIM

Develop and update detailed BIM models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
Collaborate closely with BIM coordinators, electrical engineers, and other discipline teams to ensure accurate and coordinated modeling.
Generate shop drawings, layouts, and sections from BIM models in compliance with project specifications and standards.
Assist in clash detection processes, identifying and resolving interferences with other MEP and structural elements.
Maintain model integrity by following established naming conventions, LOD (Level of Detail) requirements, and BIM execution plans.
Support the creation of quantity take-offs, schedules, and prefabrication models from the electrical BIM database.
Participate in project coordination meetings and incorporate revisions based on consultant/client feedback.
Requirements:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in electrical drafting or BIM modeling, specifically within MEP construction projects.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; familiarity with BIM 360 or similar collaboration platforms is a plus.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, components, and MEP coordination practices.
Attention to detail, ability to work under supervision, and commitment to delivering high-quality models and drawings.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
