A leading IT Service company, specializing in AV products and meeting room solutions, seeks a skilled Audio Visual Technician.Position Summary:
This role involves setup, installation, basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV systems. Equipment includes projectors, speakers, amplifiers, door stations, touch screens, CCTV, PA systems, and managing wiring/rack equipment.Key Responsibilities:Installation & Setup:
Install diverse AV equipment: projectors, speakers, amplifiers, smart home devices, door stations, touch screens, CCTV, PA systems, security systems, and rack equipment.
Perform cable installations in conduits and trays.
Terminate and tag various connectors: RJ45, XLR, network outlets, patch panels.
Build and dress equipment racks neatly.Maintenance & Operations:
Conduct basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV systems.
Properly handle and maintain all tools and devices.Teamwork & Communication:
Work effectively as a team member.
Show respect for all nationalities.
Provide regular task and project status updates.
Communicate clearly with corporate clients.Work Environment & Safety:
Maintain a safe work environment.
Possess good physical health.
Adhere to safety protocols at remote sites.
Be flexible with working hours.
Work under harsh weather conditions when necessary.Qualifications:Education:
High school or technical diploma required.
Additional technical certifications are a plus.Experience:
Minimum 3 years as an AV Technician or similar role.Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of cables, device installation, and terminations.
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
Know when to escalate issues to engineers or managers.Soft Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication.
Self-motivated and productive.
Capable of independent work.
Maintain a presentable appearance.
Possess a positive, learning attitude.Language:
