We are looking for a Safety Packaging Manager to oversee the safe handling, packaging, storage, and transportation of construction materials and equipment. The role is responsible for developing and implementing packaging and safety protocols to prevent damage, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and support smooth logistics operations. The candidate will coordinate with procurement, warehouse, site teams, and logistics to ensure that all construction materials are packaged, labeled, and stored in a safe and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safe packaging procedures for construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during packaging, handling, and storage activities.
Supervise the packaging team and ensure correct labeling, stacking, and protective measures for materials.
Monitor packaging processes to minimize material damage, loss, and safety risks.
Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and site teams to align packaging standards with project requirements.
Inspect packaging and storage facilities regularly to identify risks and implement corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with Saudi labor and safety laws, as well as client/consultant requirements.
Prepare and maintain packaging safety documentation, reports, and audits.
Conduct training for workers and subcontractors on safe packaging and material handling practices.
Support logistics teams to ensure packaged materials are delivered securely to project sites.Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in packaging, logistics, or safety management within the construction or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of safety standards, material handling, and storage practices.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of inventory/warehouse management systems.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
