- Ensure that service and store standards are met by providing customers with prompt and friendly service, quality beverages and products.
- Support store management in ensuring daily operating procedures are followed by all Team Members during shift
- Maximize store profitability by tapping different sources of income to increase sales and assist in managing inventory and controlling variable costs.
- Provides data for producing daily, weekly, and quarterly financial and operational reports.
- Ensure all cash handling procedures are performed in an accurate and consistent manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedure.
- Assist store management with accounting and banking responsibilities. Record and is accountable for store funds while running a shift.
- Train the team on new products and follow up sales performance in different sales channels (dine-in, take out, home delivery, etc.)
- Welcome, connect with guests, and build lasting business relationships.
- Determine guest needs and suggests appropriate product.
- Offer guest demonstrations and samples of product, and encourage guest interaction.
- handle guest complaints and escalate cases to senior management if the situation warrants
- assist in placing food and non-food materials requisitions using stock management system
- Abide to restaurant operating hours based on venue and legal requirements
- Monitor controllable costs and strive to achieve required financial objectives
- Build robust partnerships and / or networks with key governmental and business bodies or institutions
- Determine daily and weekly staffing needs according to business volume with a focus on productivity aspects
- Ensure implementation of preventive maintenance routines, and maintaining adequate staffing levels
- Periodically assess products performance and recommend new ways to improve current performance, i.e., suggestive selling
- Follow mechanisms and approaches to optimize the cost elements and maximize the profit margins
- Conduct communication meetings and debriefs to keep the staff aware of the restaurant performance as well as company updates
- Follow up cleaning schedules to ensure availing clean and sparkling facilities
- Maintain the restaurant official documents and staff files in a safe place
- Follow company regulations in handling daily sales and end of day procedures
- Resolve employees concerns and ensure to provide positive work environment that boosts team retention and engagement. Keep attrition level to the minimum.
- Conduct “on the job exposures” to interested candidates and answer queries
- Acts as a role model, providing guidance and training to store Team Members on all performance expectations.
- Ensure all restaurant team members are certified as per brand guidelines
- Provide encouragement and support to staff to enhance the right working environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (including health and safety policy), local rules and regulations
