The purpose of this role is to hire an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in earthwork quantity calculation using 3D modeling. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in Civil 3D software.Role and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for managing all quantity take-off processes required for the earthwork scope, including:Coordinating with the site team on completed works and working closely with surveyors and 3D scanning specialists to ensure all executed work data is received.
Producing detailed cut and fill volume reports by comparing existing, actual, and design surfaces, segmented by scope, zone, and subcontractor.
Liaising with the Engineering/BIM team to produce related shop drawings and substantiation required by the client for payment.
Quantifying monthly earthwork progress for the Client Interim Payment Certificate.
Coordinating with the Client QS on submitted models and claimed quantities.
Estimating earthwork cut and fill quantities required for new designs, scopes, or variations.
Managing earthwork subcontractors’ Interim Payment Applications, including verifying quantities, reviewing supporting documents, processing applications, issuing Interim Payment Certificates, and obtaining approvals prior to submission for payment.
Raising all related payments on the UNIMAC SAP system.Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Proven knowledge and experience in earthwork 3D modeling software, specifically Civil 3DKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely update and transfer of site progress into numerical values, with a maximum lag of 7 days between site data and produced calculations
Timely management of subcontractors’ Interim Payment Applications and issuance of Interim Payment Certificates within 7 days
Efficient turnaround time from site progress to model to shop drawing submission to the client
Weekly modeling throughput measured in cubic meters (m?/week)Preferred SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience in civil earthwork quantity surveying
Proficiency with Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and numerical accuracy skills
Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities, with the capability to liaise effectively with site and technical teamsWorking Hours
10 hours per day, from Saturday to Thursday
