SWATX is looking for a Senior IT Financial & Assets Specialist to lead our efforts in managing IT financial operations and optimizing technology asset utilization. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that financial decisions related to IT investments are aligned with the company's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be experienced in financial analysis, asset management, and have a solid understanding of IT financial principles.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:- Oversee the IT budgeting process, ensuring adherence to financial policies and alignment with strategic goals.- Analyze IT expenditures and asset utilization to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.- Lead the lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and compliance.- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights on budgeting and asset management.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and asset management systems.- Manage vendor negotiations and evaluations to ensure best practices and value in IT asset acquisitions.- Mentor and guide junior staff in IT financial operations and asset management processes.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA is preferred.- 5+ years of experience in IT financial management or asset management.- Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and reporting tools.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information succinctly.- Knowledge of IT asset management principles and tools, as well as relevant compliance standards.- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CPA, or similar) are a plus.
