Job Title: Safety OfficerLocation: Jubail, Saudi ArabiaIndustry: Oil & GasExperience Required: 10+ YearsJob DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Jubail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management within the oil & gas, petrochemical, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries, with proven experience on large-scale construction projects.The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CLIENT Loss Prevention requirements, developing and implementing safety programs, conducting audits, and driving a strong safety culture across all operations.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with CLIENT Loss Prevention requirements and international safety standards.
Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to minimize potential hazards.
Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs, loss control plans, and corrective action procedures.
Provide training and awareness sessions to site personnel on safety standards and practices.
Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
Liaise with project management, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree/diploma in Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Safety Officer in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of international safety standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO, etc.).
Membership in a recognized professional safety society (e.g., Institute of Industrial Safety Officers) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
