- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field. Certification:
- Must have a certification for Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant safety or operational experience, preferably within oil, gas, or petrochemical industries.
- Other Requirements: Knowledge in occupational health, safety, environmental compliance, strong training and communication skills
- Responsibility:
o Establish policies and procedures for safe handling, transport, and disposal of radioactive materials.
o Supervise personnel monitoring (TLD, OSL, electronic dosimeters) for all radiation workers.
o Maintain exposure records as per Saudi Aramco SAHC and NCEC requirements.
o Conduct area surveys, contamination monitoring, and radiation level assessments
o Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive waste.
o Coordinate with licensed facilities for waste transfer and disposal as per NCEC/KACST guidelines.Note:
