- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to client needs.
- Conduct assessments of existing data governance practices and identify improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote awareness and adherence to data governance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.
- Monitor and report on compliance with data governance policies, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or consulting.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proven ability to analyze complex data systems and recommend actionable improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with data governance tools and platforms for managing data quality and compliance.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus.
