We are looking for a skilled IoT Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our Internet of Things ecosystem. You will be responsible for integrating IoT devices and sensors with cloud platforms, developing analytical dashboards, and ensuring reliable data pipelines from the edge to the cloud.Key Responsibilities:IoT Integration & Connectivity- Design and implement end-to-end IoT solutions, connecting physical devices and sensors to cloud and on-premise platforms.- Develop and maintain communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, BLE) for device-to-cloud and device-to-device communication.- Integrate IoT hardware (sensors, actuators, gateways, access controls) with cloud services (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT, or similar).- Manage device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.Dashboard & Data Analytics- Build and maintain interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring and analysis of IoT data using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Power BI, or custom web applications.- Design data visualization solutions that provide actionable insights for business and operational teams.- Develop alerting and anomaly detection systems to proactively identify issues across connected devices.Data Pipeline & Architecture- Design and manage data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing high-volume IoT data streams.- Work with time-series databases and data streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis).- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across all IoT data sources.Firmware & Edge Computing- Collaborate with hardware teams on embedded firmware development and over-the-air (OTA) updates.- Implement edge computing solutions to process data locally and reduce cloud bandwidth consumption.Security & Compliance- Enforce IoT security best practices, including device authentication, encryption, and secure boot.- Conduct regular security audits on devices and communication channels.- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and industry regulations.Collaboration & Documentation- Work closely with product, data engineering, and operations teams to deliver integrated IoT solutions.- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems, APIs, and integrations.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IoT systems in production.RequirementsTechnical Skills:- 3+ years of experience in IoT engineering, embedded systems, or a related field.- Hands-on experience with IoT platforms such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.- Proficiency in programming languages: Laravel Framework, JavaScript, Open APIs Integration.- Strong knowledge of IoT communication protocols: MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, Modbus, LoRaWAN, BLE, or Zigbee.- Experience building real-time dashboards and data visualizations using Grafana, Kibana, Power BI, or similar tools.- Familiarity with time-series databases, SQL/NoSQL databases.- Experience with data streaming and messaging systems (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS Kinesis).- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.- Understanding of Linux/embedded OS environments.- Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments.- Knowledge of machine learning or AI for Reporting and predictive maintenance use cases.Nice to Have:- Experience with edge computing platforms- Background in network engineering or industrial automation (OPC-UA, SCADA systems).- Experience with digital twin technologies.Soft Skills:- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Benefits- Flexible working hours and hybrid/remote work options.- Access to the latest IoT hardware and development tools.- Collaborative and innovative work environment.- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge IoT projects with real-world impact.
