As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in supporting our diverse culinary operations—whether it’s crafting indulgent pastries in the Pastry Kitchen, baking artisanal bread in the Bakery, preparing premium cuts in the Butchery, executing room service orders in In-Room Dining, or delivering fresh flavors in our All Day Dining Restaurant, Specialty Bar & Restaurant, or Lobby Lounge. In both Prep Cook 1 and Prep Cook 2 roles, you will ensure every ingredient is handled with care, every station is ready for service, and every dish begins with quality and precision.What You Will Do
- Wash, peel, cut, measure, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu standards.
- Maintain an organized place for your station at all times.
- Support chefs in executing daily menus for your assigned department and outlet.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols rigorously.
- Meet prep deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Properly label, date, and store food items to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Assist in plating, garnishing, and finishing dishes when required.
- Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred; culinary school training is an advantage.
- Solid knife skills and basic cooking technique knowledge.
- Ability to follow recipes and directions with precision.
- Keen attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Positive, adaptable attitude with a passion for learning in a high-energy, multicultural environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluency in English is preferred.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
