- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to support company operations.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure the security of network systems by implementing best practices and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
- Manage and optimize network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and best practices.
- Document network configurations, changes, and updates for future reference.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff on network-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and architecture.
- Experience with network hardware configuration (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for network security.
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel for technical documentation.
- Expertise in Microsoft Visio for designing network diagrams and infrastructure layouts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
