Job Title: Testing Technician - ElectricalEmployment Type: Full-Time | On-SitePosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled Testing Technician - Electrical to join our Operations & Maintenance team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with LV switchgear, panels, and cable testing using advanced electrical measurement tools. This role is vital to ensuring system reliability, safety, and compliance with project specifications.Key Responsibilities:

Conduct electrical testing on LV switchgear and panels, including functional and insulation checks.
Perform Insulation Resistance (IR) testing for LV cables and switchgear assemblies.
Troubleshoot and verify system functionality using standard electrical testing procedures.
Operate and maintain the following tools and devices with precision:

IR Tester
Multimeter
Torque Wrench
Document and report testing results in accordance with project and safety standards.
Assist in site commissioning activities, adhering to QA/QC procedures.
Ensure all testing work aligns with electrical codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Vocational Degree in Electrical or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in LV electrical testing.
Strong understanding of LV switchgear configurations and test protocols.
Familiarity with electrical safety practices and testing documentation.
Proficient in using:

IR Tester (Insulation Resistance)
Multimeter
Torque Wrench
