- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to production specifications and schedule.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain specified tolerances.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment and tools.
- Inspect and measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional specifications.
- Maintain accurate logs of production runs, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC lathe programming and G-code.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
