Urgently Hiring: Production Planner – Fabricationresponsible for developing and maintaining efficient production schedules for the fabrication workshop.Ensures timely availability of materials, coordination with various departments, and adherence to deadlines and quality standards, while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Develops and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for fabrication operations.
  • Coordinates with design, engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure job readiness.
  • Monitors work orders and job progress to meet delivery schedules and project deadlines.
  • Allocates resources (labor, machines, and materials) based on priority and capacity.
  • Adjusts schedules based on delays, material shortages, or equipment breakdowns.
  • Maintains close communication with workshop supervisors and foremen to track actual progress.
  • Ensures production data is accurately entered into ERP or tracking systems.
  • Analyzes and reports production KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Works closely with the quality control team to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Maintains proper documentation of production plans, revisions, and performance records.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, assembly, etc.).
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Project).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with ISO or ASME fabrication standards.
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
