Moreover, the resort features seven different gastronomic experiences, sprawling pools and recreational facilities, a spa, a health club and curated meetings and events spaces for leisure, business travellers and groups.With the worldliness that travel brings, every stay will take your imagination to places you'd never expect!General Technician (HVAC & Cold rooms)As a HVAC & Cold rooms technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all tasks, including:

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repairing of heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning, AHU, FCU, air compressors, and all auxiliary equipment.
Recycle and charge refrigerants as required. Inspect and test refrigeration systems, safety devices, and control for efficiency of operation and compliance with safety practice and regulations.
Ensure proper inventory and storage of HVAC and Cold room tools, equipment, and materials.
Respond to emergency repair requests promptly to minimize disruptions.
Collaborate with other departments to support maintenance and renovation projects.
Repair or replace condensers, compressors, pumps, valves, motors, bearings, belts and other parts.
Install, repair and maintain major heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning units, coils, fans, subsystems and components parts; perform welding and soldering as needed.
Understanding and following blueprints or building plans
Completing HVAC and Cold rooms work orders promptly and accurately.
Performing routine and preventive maintenance as per the scheduled program.
Consistently delivering high-quality HVAC and Cold rooms work.
Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment while on duty.
Accurately completing and submitting work slips (or online system) and request forms (or work log) at the end of each shift.
Keeping the workspace clean and always organized.
Upholding InterContinental's guidelines and service standards, consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries

Requirements:

High level of interpersonal skills.
Proactive, systematic approach to tasks
Willingness to work flexible in terms of work (other than core work) and hours
Willingness to tackle a wide range of day-to-day activities from complex to simple tasks
Operates a personal computer and spreadsheet.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Able to handle pressure while maintaining a positive outlook.
Ability to perform tasks alone or in a team to a high standard without supervision
Physical fitness, mental fitness and dexterity to handle the work
Knowledge of different HVAC, Cold rooms and mechanical systems
Ability to operate and maintain the resort perfectly
Attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections or defects
Strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members and supervisors
Adherence to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
