- Orchestrate the daily opening and closing procedures of the retail shop, ensuring the facility is immaculate before the first guest arrives.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the Retail Assistants, providing real-time feedback and coaching on sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Manage staff rostering and break schedules to ensure optimal floor coverage during peak times.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests requiring specialised assistance, including warranty claims or complex special orders.
- Drive daily sales performance by assigning individual targets to staff and monitoring progress throughout the shift.
- Execute visual merchandising directives set by the Retail Manager; ensure displays are dusted, straightened, and fully stocked at all times.
- Monitor "fast-movers" and "slow-movers" on the floor and report trends to the Retail Manager to aid in re-ordering.
- Assist with inventory receiving, ensuring all incoming stock is quality-checked, tagged, and steamed/prepared for the floor immediately.
- Oversee Point of Sale (POS) operations, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly and aligned with Qiddiya's financial audit standards.
- Perform daily cash ups, reconcile float variances, and investigate any discrepancies immediately.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of high-value items (e.g., hardware, GPS units, watches) to prevent shrinkage.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of quarterly and annual full physical stocktakes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Diploma in Retail Management or Hospitality is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
- Experience within the golf industry or luxury fashion retail is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Jonas, Retail Pro).
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems and back-office retail software.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues with shop equipment.
- Functional knowledge of golf equipment specifications (shaft flex, loft, grip size) to assist guests in the absence of a PGA Professional.
