Location: RiyadhJob Summary:Our client is seeking a strategic leader to drive the growth and profitability of our Marine and Specialty insurance lines. The successful candidate will develop and implement business strategies, lead a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability- Lead and develop a high-performing team of underwriters- Oversee underwriting, portfolio management, and risk management- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls- Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvementRequirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field- Master's degree or certifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU) are desirable- 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on Marine and Specialty lines- Expertise in underwriting, pricing, and reinsurance for Marine and Specialty risks- Strong knowledge of operational risk, regulatory compliance, and internal controls- Proven leadership and team management skills- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
