Jira Administrator – Banking Domain

• Administer and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments.
• Configure workflows, custom fields, permissions, issue types, screens, and dashboards.
• Manage user access, groups, roles, and security schemes in line with organizational policies.
• Integrate Jira with other tools (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, Slack, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Power BI).
• Support Agile and DevOps teams in implementing Jira best practices for Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automation rules to streamline recurring tasks.
• Generate and maintain reports and dashboards for management and project tracking.
• Perform data migration, backup, and upgrade activities when needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and IT security teams to ensure Jira supports enterprise processes.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with banking IT governance and audit requirements.
• Provide end-user training and support across departments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in Jira Administration (Data Center or Cloud versions).
• Proven experience in banking or financial services domain.
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Service Management).
• Experience with Jira automation, REST APIs, and scripting (Groovy / ScriptRunner / Power Scripts).
• Familiarity with Agile and ITSM methodologies.
• Experience with user provisioning and SSO integration (LDAP/AD, Okta, etc.).
• Good understanding of governance, compliance, and change management in regulated environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
