We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to technical specifications and tolerances.Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the lathe machines according to production specifications and schedule.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain specified tolerances.
- Perform regular maintenance.
- Inspect and measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional specifications.
- Maintain accurate logs of production runs, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Proven experience as a lathe machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
