- Manage and improve foundry and casting processes including molding, melting, pouring, heat treatment, and machining.
- Analyze production data to identify technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of technical equipment and machinery.
- Evaluate new technologies and equipment to improve production capabilities and product quality.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet technical specifications and standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Support root cause analysis for technical failures and lead troubleshooting efforts.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, process manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Generate regular technical reports on process performance, equipment status, and improvement projects.
- Lead, train, and mentor technical staff including engineers and technicians.
- Promote a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous technical learning.
- Coordinate technical training programs for production personnel.
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in technical roles within steel foundry, casting, or heavy manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of foundry and casting technologies and equipment.
- Experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and technical project management.
- Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, ASTM) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
