(Nationality: Sri Lanka and Filipino Only)Job Summary:An External Auditor is responsible for examining financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls of client organizations to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and financial integrity. This role typically involves working for an accounting or audit firm and conducting audits for multiple external clients across different industries.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of financial statements in accordance with auditing standards.
- Assess and evaluate internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with financial laws and regulations.
- Identify and report on potential financial misstatements, fraud risks, or areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
- Maintain detailed work papers and documentation supporting audit conclusions.
- Liaise with client management to gather relevant financial data and provide updates on audit progress.
- Ensure audits are completed within the required timeframes and budgets.
- Keep up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of audit proposals and participate in client onboarding and engagement planning.
1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience).
2. Three to Five years of full-time experience in the external auditing field.
3. Prefer to have experience in Oil/Gas company or construction company.
4. Knowledge of and skill in applying external auditing principles and standards.
5. Microsoft MS Office professional user (Highly proficient in the use of MS Excel).
