We are currently looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI/FM Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Funds Management (FM) to support implementation, production support, and system optimization activities.Role Overview
The role involves providing L2 support and functional expertise across core SAP FI processes (G/L, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Financial Closing) and Funds Management, ensuring accurate postings, effective budget control, and seamless integration across SAP modules.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 support for SAP FI/FM incidents and issues
  • Handle end-to-end FI support activities including G/L, AP, AR, document posting, and financial close
  • Monitor and resolve Budget Control System (BCS) and Availability Control (AVC) issues
  • Maintain and support FM master data and derivation rules (Funds, Fund Centers, Commitment Items)
  • Analyze and resolve FI/FM integration issues with CO, MM, and PS
  • Troubleshoot posting errors related to tax, G/L determination, and account assignments
  • Perform FI-FM / FI-CO reconciliations to ensure data integrity
  • Work closely with business users to resolve tickets and provide functional guidance
  • Ensure correct FI configuration impacting Funds Management postings
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5-8 years of SAP FI/FM experience
  • Hands-on configuration experience with at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations
  • Strong expertise in FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and FM (BCS, AVC, Derivation Rules)
  • Experience in support projects and ticket handling
  • Solid understanding of integration with FI/CO, MM, and PS
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for FI postings and FM budget consumption
  • Ability to analyze complex financial posting issues across FI and FM
