We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled L1 Networking Engineer to join our IT support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-level troubleshooting, monitoring network devices, managing user connectivity issues, and escalating critical events to L2/L3 teams.🎯 Key Responsibilities:Monitor LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches, and firewalls via NMS tools.Handle basic network connectivity issues (wired & wireless).Perform initial diagnosis of incidents related to network performance, link outages, and user access issues.Log and update incidents in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshdesk, OTRS).Patch and terminate network cables, manage physical layer tasks.Assist in network device configurations under L2/L3 engineer guidance.Escalate complex issues to higher support levels following escalation matrix.Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for link-related problems.Generate daily/weekly reports on link uptime, support tickets, and performance.Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams and port allocation.Provide support during scheduled changes or network downtime.📚 Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.0–5 years of experience in IT/networking support.Basic understanding of networking concepts – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VLANs.Familiarity with Cisco/Mikrotik/HP/Aruba switches and wireless APs is a plus.Certification preferred: CCNA (or in progress), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.🧠 Skills Required:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Clear communication (written and verbal).Attention to detail and documentation discipline.Willingness to work in shifts/on-call when needed.Team player with a customer-centric approach.🎁 What We Offer:Opportunity to grow into L2/L3 roles with mentoring.Exposure to enterprise networking environments.Training support for certification (e.g., CCNA/CCNP).Friendly and learning-driven work cultureJob Location: Riyadh
