Role Summary: To ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, storage and distribution of materials by managing inventory, transportation, negotiation with suppliers and regulatory compliance. This encompasses the key responsibilities as follows.Area of Responsibilities:
 Develop, implement and oversee logistic plans, strategies and procedures to support project objectives
 Monitor and maintain sufficient inventory to ensure uninterrupted supply to the projects
 Planning and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, selecting cost effective careers, negotiating rates, finalization of contracts and managing delivery schedules
 Track and monitor shipments and efficient operation of warehouse
 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards and relevant local laws
 Close coordination with Procurement Department and Project Team to optimize and to ensure seamless logistic operations
Competencies:
 Strong knowledge of logistics regulations, safety standards and industry best practices
Skills:
 Proficient in MS Office applications
 Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Education:
 Bachelors degree in Logistics and supply chain. Masters degree holders will be given preference
Experience:
 15 + Years’ experience in logistics management; out of which minimum 5 years from Oil & Gas construction industry
