Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and compliance of various construction projects throughout the Riyadh area.

Conduct thorough inspections of structural elements on construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors
Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals, taking necessary actions as required
Maintain accurate records of contractor manpower, equipment, and daily resources
Perform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
Document contractor activities, including personnel, equipment, location, and methods utilized
Monitor and report on materials delivery, implementing site instructions from leadership
Apply and enforce quality control procedures and safety protocols on construction sites
Prepare site measurements and surveying checks as needed
Monitor health and safety compliance of construction works, reporting any violations
Collaborate with project teams to resolve structural issues and ensure project success

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering required; related degree in Engineering fields preferred for career advancement
Minimum of 15 years of overall experience in structural inspection, with at least 5 years of experience in the Middle East region
Proven experience in construction supervision with a consultancy firm
Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and structural engineering principles
Proficiency in reading and interpreting contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications
Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
Thorough understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes in construction
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Proficiency in relevant software tools for structural inspection and reporting
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
Willingness to work on various construction sites within the Riyadh area
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
