The IT Security Specialist at SWATX plays a critical role in safeguarding our organization's information systems and data. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security measures to protect against various threats. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a passion for keeping systems secure.In this role, you will collaborate with IT teams to identify vulnerabilities, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also contribute to the development of security policies and procedures, strengthening our overall security posture.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT security or a related role.
  • Familiarity with security tools and practices, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and antivirus software.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security incidents effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Experience with security compliance requirements and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is an advantage.
