Senior Contract Engineer

Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to engineering and consultancy services.
Provide strategic advice on contractual matters and ensure all contracts meet industry standards and legal requirements.
Manage claims, variations, and disputes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Coordinate with legal, finance, and project management teams to ensure contract alignment with project objectives.
Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting through execution and closure.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and best practices.
Mitigate risks and provide recommendations for risk management strategies.
Assist in developing procurement strategies and contract structures.
Conduct contract performance reviews and ensure that all deliverables are met within budget and on time.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in contract management within the consultant engineering and PMO sectors.
Strong understanding of local regulations, legal frameworks, and international standards.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proven experience in dispute resolution and claims management.
Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
