
SAP Testing Team Lead

- Manage UAT and System Testing related functions.
- Capable of working with and standing firm with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, Development,
- Architects and BA's to get their point across i.e. ensuring quality comes first.
- Effectively communicates with project stakeholders to get buy-in for test approach.
- Define, review and implement the Test Strategy, Quality processes and procedures. Enforce the adherence to the program’s Quality processes and procedures. Reviewing of test plans and test cases.
- Reviews project documentation to determine cost effective / quality test approach.
- Produces detailed estimates / dependencies / assumptions / test requirements.
- Clearly communicates test approach in relevant test documentation and test management tools and ensures that all requirements are traceable.
- Ensure all test collateral is of high standard and conforms to best practice.
- Delivers / tracks and reports on project plan for entire test event.
- Closely monitors and tracks risks / issues and works closely with project team in the resolution of issues.
- Manages test resource allocation (ramp-up/ ramp-down) as well as communicating/ delegating effectively within test team.
- Prepares and presents post project review document.
- Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science.
- RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a similar role.
- Experience with HP Quality Centre across a minimum of 3 projects, particularly in Unified Functional Testing.
- Demonstrated experience and a proven track record in delivering test management services and solutions, utilizing industry-standard testing methodologies.
- Project Management certification is considered an asset. Experience in selecting, implementing, and managing testing tools is preferred.
- Practical experience in delivering testing solutions and a strong capability to collaborate with other teams to fulfill business requirements.
- Ability to align testing methodologies and governance processes with the Project Management Office (PMO) and other IT functions.
- Prior experience in initiating and sustaining strategic relationships both internally and externally, employing strong influencing skills to achieve business objectives.
- Capability to provide coaching for the development of technical skills and competencies in others.
- SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in written and spoken communication in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to deliver training sessions effectively.
- Capacity to operate under tight timelines and meet strict deadlines.
- Comprehension and practical experience with technology as a facilitator.
- Proven ability to work efficiently within a diverse team environment.
