Experience: Minimum of 3 years in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Job Purpose:
To supervise and lead the housekeeping team, ensuring all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
- Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff and monitor completion.
- Inspect cleaned rooms and public areas for quality assurance.
- Provide training, guidance, and motivation to housekeeping staff.
- Onboard new staff and ensure proper implementation of procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and follow up as needed.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and request restocking when required.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare daily housekeeping reports and submit to management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- High school diploma (Hotel management diploma is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping, including 1+ year in a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
