Contract: 3 to 6 months (ext.)Job SummaryOur client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing and investigating losses, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers, employees, and assets.Key Responsibilities- Identify and prevent losses due to theft, shoplifting, and other forms of shrinkage.- Conduct thorough investigations of suspected losses, gathering evidence and collaborating with law enforcement as needed.- Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security measures to detect and prevent losses.- Apprehend and detain individuals suspected of shoplifting or other forms of theft, following company policies and procedures.- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, investigations, and losses, maintaining accurate records and documentation.-Work closely with store management, security teams, and law enforcement agencies to prevent and investigate losses.- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on loss prevention techniques and procedures.Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement preferred.- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to loss prevention.
