Positioned near a natural lagoon, with perfect conditions for water sports, Silver Sands is for families and enthusiasts, promising lasting memories amidst its splendour.Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring all facilities, equipment, and systems at Silver Sands Beach are maintained in excellent working condition. The role involves leading a team of technicians, planning and executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to provide a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of engineering technicians across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules for all facilities and equipment.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimizing downtime and disruptions to guest services.
Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities, identify maintenance needs, and recommend corrective actions.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts/tools.
Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources.
Enforce safety standards and ensure team compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist in planning and executing small projects, renovations, and equipment upgrades.
Report maintenance status, issues, and recommendations to the Chief Engineer/Engineering Manager.

Desired Skill & ExpertiseQualifications:Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).Solid experience in 5-star hotel industryPrevious supervisory experience preferred.Strong technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Computer literacy (MS Office, maintenance management systems).Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage
