Availability: Able to join within two weeksJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road BIM Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil 3D and extensive experience in road design and modeling for large infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality BIM models, supporting design teams, and ensuring that road projects are completed efficiently and effectively, adhering to all design specifications and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BIM models for road infrastructure projects using Autodesk Civil 3D and other related BIM software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, project management) to produce accurate, data-driven road designs and models.
- Create, update, and manage 3D road geometry, corridors, grading, drainage, and utilities for highway and road projects.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in BIM processes and workflows across all phases of the project.
- Prepare detailed 3D visualizations and model data for presentations, meetings, and client communications.
- Conduct clash detection and coordination between road designs and other infrastructure models to avoid potential issues.
- Perform quality checks on the design models and documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Support the preparation of project specifications, reports, and other technical documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of road design drawings, ensuring they meet all regulatory and client requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and promote continuous learning within the department.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in road design and BIM modeling, with a focus on Civil 3D software.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, with a strong understanding of road design, grading, drainage, and utility modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of BIM workflows, 3D modeling, and Clash detection in road infrastructure.
- Familiarity with other BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or Infraworks & Road Work is an advantage.
- Experience with highway design, road geometry, earthworks, and drainage design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of international road design standards, codes, and regulations.
- Experience in managing project timelines and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.
