- Provide a wide range of advanced spa treatments—including massage therapies, facials, and body rituals—with professionalism and presence.
- Conduct detailed pre-treatment consultations and adapt services to individual guest needs, preferences, and contraindications.
- Integrate mindful techniques, such as breathwork or guided awareness, when appropriate to enhance the guest’s experience.
- Deliver aftercare guidance and support guests with recommendations for further wellness experiences and at-home routines.
- Ensure every treatment is personalized, intentional, and aligned with Miraval’s holistic approach to well-being.
- Guide and mentor junior therapists, providing hands-on training, ongoing feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with onboarding and skills development, ensuring all team members meet Miraval’s service and technical standards.
- Lead internal trainings in techniques, product knowledge, spa rituals, retail and mindfulness-based guest engagement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and mutual support.
- Ensure that all treatments are performed safely, with full adherence to spa protocols, professional standards, and guest health considerations.
- Conduct regular room setup inspections to confirm all equipment, linens, and supplies are clean, sanitized, stocked, and in excellent condition.
- Report any safety concerns or maintenance needs promptly to Spa Leadership or Engineering/HK team.
- Support enforcement of safe and respectful use of spa facilities including thermal areas, relaxation lounges, and hydrotherapy amenities.
- Stay current with sanitation guidelines, product usage protocols, and Saudi Arabia’s wellness and hospitality regulations.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of products and tools in line with international hygiene standards.
- Oversee daily readiness of spa treatment areas, supporting operational flow and maintaining serene, organized spaces.
- Assist the Spa Manager in monitoring product inventory, usage levels, and equipment functionality.
- Manage therapist schedules and daily service flow, adjusting to meet business levels and guest needs.
- Ensure all records, guest notes, and spa documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Liaise with wellness and front office teams to coordinate spa packages, workshops, and personalized itineraries.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to evolve the spa menu, integrating emerging wellness trends and global spa innovations.
- Partner with well-being teams to create tailored wellness journeys that include spa, fitness, and mindfulness sessions.
- Support the development of seasonal rituals, immersive experiences, and exclusive spa activations.
- Build meaningful connections with guests, providing consistent care, presence, and attention throughout their spa journey.
- Offer emotional support and guidance when appropriate, ensuring guests feel comfortable, seen, and respected.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Represent Miraval’s values through every interaction, creating memorable and impactful guest experiences.
- Encourage retail product and service recommendations that align with the guest’s needs and wellness goals.
- Support spa revenue objectives through personalized upselling of enhancements, treatments, or follow-up appointments.
- Stay informed about all offerings across spa, fitness, and wellness to cross-refer with authenticity and accuracy.
- Support the Spa Reception and Guest Service team during high-volume periods by assisting with guest check-ins, product knowledge, and locker room orientations.
- Step in to help guide guests through the full spa journey, from welcome to relaxation to post-treatment reflection.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest itineraries, special requests, and group programming.
- Certified Massage Therapist or licensed Spa Practitioner (e.g., CIDESCO, ITEC, CIBTAC, or national equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury spa environments, including at least 1-2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Expertise in a range of therapies including deep tissue, Swedish, aromatherapy, body treatments, and facial protocols.
- Knowledge of holistic wellness concepts, spa safety standards, and mindful service delivery.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Warm, grounded, and professional communication style with a guest-first mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide others.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
