Mint Creative is seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and equipment, with over 7 years of experience in procurement roles within the construction, industrial, or engineering sectors.
This role will play a key part in ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of mechanical equipment and services that meet project specifications and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full procurement cycle for mechanical materials and equipment.
Analyze technical requirements and prepare RFQs, tenders, and purchase orders.
Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate closely with engineering, project, and site teams to meet material needs.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the mechanical or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and supply markets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
