- Provide academic leadership in the implementation of the British curriculum for students with special educational needs.
- Mentor, coach, and support classroom teachers to deliver differentiated, inclusive instruction.
- Collaborate with the Principal to establish and maintain policies, systems, and educational goals aligned with the school's vision.
- Create professional development plans for teachers and support staff.
- Foster a school culture of collaboration, empathy, and innovation.
- Lead the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Engage regularly with parents and caregivers, facilitating communication, education sessions, and support as needed.
- Help recruit, train, and onboard academic staff as part of the school's start-up phase.
- Monitor and assess teaching practices, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection protocols.`
- Act as a bridge between parents, staff, and leadership to maintain trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to student success.
- Minimum of 10 years' teaching experience, including leadership roles in inclusive or special needs education.
- Proven experience working with the British curriculum, ideally in an international or SEN-focused setting.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to coach and uplift teaching staff.
- Deep understanding of differentiated instruction and individualised support.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in building relationships with parents of children with special needs.
- Comfortable in a start-up or early-phase school setting, with the ability to contribute to foundational systems and practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
