Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman

• Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Translate engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations into precise technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and resolve design issues.
• Revise and update existing drawings as needed, incorporating design changes and red-line markups.
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and other project-related documentation.
• Perform site visits as required to verify measurements and existing conditions.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman,
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
• Strong understanding of mechanical drafting principles, standards, and symbols.
• Familiarity with relevant international and local codes (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, SASO) is a significant plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
