- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrcial & Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field (awarded in 2021 or later)
- Proven track record of first-author publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals or leading international conferences in AI, biomedical engineering, or healthcare technologies
- Advanced programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB, with demonstrated proficiency in machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
- Practical experience in applying Large Language Models (LLMs) and other foundation models in biomedical or clinical contexts
- Strong background in biomedical data analysis, including handling physiological signals, medical images, and structured clinical data (e.g., EHR, biosensor data)
- Demonstrated ability to build, validate, and optimize computational models for real-world biomedical and healthcare applications
- Experience developing end-to-end AI pipelines for biomedical applications, including data preprocessing, model training, validation, and integration with clinical workflows
- Experience with medical or physiological data analysis, including signals, images, and electronic health records.
- Familiarity with multimodal biomedical data and their application in diagnostic or predictive modeling
- Knowledge of AI model evaluation metrics and interpretability methods relevant to healthcare decision-making
- Experience with Physics-Informed Neural Networks for modeling physiological systems or solving inverse biomedical problems
- Proficiency in graph theory and Graph Neural Networks for modeling structured biomedical data such as anatomical networks or patient cohorts
- Hands-on experience with medical device prototyping, IoT integration, and sensor data acquisition
- Experience with hardware platforms and embedded systems for AI deployment in biomedical and clinical environments
- Knowledge of clinical validation processes, healthcare regulations, and integration of AI tools into clinical workflows
- Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills in multidisciplinary research settings
