We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations at our perfume production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal production efficiency, maintaining high product quality, and implementing industry best practices across all operational processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operations management within the fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG industries, with a hands-on approach to leadership and a keen eye for continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production lifecycle—from raw material intake to the delivery of the final product—ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
- Monitor production and packaging lines to achieve daily and monthly output targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products comply with internal specifications and external regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics to prevent material shortages or production delays.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Lead and develop factory teams including recruitment, training, task allocation, and performance appraisals.
- Enforce compliance with workplace safety regulations and promote a culture of health and safety across all departments.
- Generate detailed operational reports and KPIs for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with Research & Development teams to support the launch of new fragrances and the improvement of existing formulations.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and secure all necessary operational certifications (e.g., GMV, GMP).
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably within the perfume, cosmetics, or related manufacturing industries.
- In-depth understanding of production workflows, packaging processes, and factory operations.
- Solid knowledge of quality systems, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and workplace safety protocols.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP or other operations and inventory management platforms.
