Engineer Integration - IP/MPLS

Position Summary:

Ensure successful implementation and integration of IP/MPLS solutions across Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei platforms.
Design and maintain high-availability, scalable, and redundant network topologies.
Support network migrations, upgrades, and service rollouts with minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex MPLS, routing, and QoS issues efficiently.
Contribute to automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of network operations.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Implement and integrate Access MPLS solutions on Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei platforms at the aggregation layer.
Design and configure high-availability and redundant network topologies using MPLS, routing, and QoS features.
Configure routers and switches for MPLS, QoS, IPv4/IPv6, and advanced IP routing protocols.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot unexpected network behaviors during implementation.
Support migration projects, upgrades, and new service rollouts, ensuring seamless execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical incidents and maintain service continuity.
Document configurations, implementations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Contribute to network automation initiatives (Ansible, Python, NetConf) to improve efficiency.
Stay updated on emerging SDN, NFV, VXLAN, and EVPN technologies and recommend adoption where relevant.
Ensure adherence to shift-based support, including weekends or night shifts when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Network/Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (mandatory).
4+ years of hands-on experience in IP/MPLS engineering, integration, or support roles.
Expertise in MPLS technologies (LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, BGP).
Understanding of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, etc.).
Proven experience working with Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei platforms.
Deep knowledge of QoS mechanisms and IPv4/IPv6 addressing & subnetting.
Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Python, NetConf) is a strong plus.
Understanding of SDN/NFV, VXLAN, and EVPN is an added advantage.
Certifications: CCNP (Service Provider/Enterprise) or JNCIP-SP required.
Ability to work in a shift-based environment, including weekends and night shifts.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
