A leading real estate development company in Saudi Arabia, known for delivering high-impact residential, commercial and mixed-use projects across the Kingdom. As part of its strategic growth, the organization is seeking a visionary development leader to oversee its expanding portfolio.Role Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role will lead the full lifecycle of real estate development from concept and feasibility to design, construction, and delivery. This executive role requires a strategic planner and execution expert who can align investment models with business goals, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The CDO will play a key role in shaping the company’s development roadmap and driving stakeholder engagement across internal and external partners.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning, feasibility modelling, and investment alignment for all development projects.
- Oversee PMO, design, procurement, and construction delivery functions.
- Ensure governance, KPI tracking, and executive reporting across all development stages.
- Build strong relationships with government entities, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, permitting processes, and quality standards.
- Drive innovation in product design and land use strategy to maximize project value.
- 18+ years of experience in real estate development, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-sector projects in Saudi Arabia.
- Deep understanding of local regulatory frameworks and development controls.
- Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is a strong advantage.
- Skilled in stakeholder negotiation, team leadership, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to align development with target IRR and business objectives.
